ah that might be why, I don't eat the skins of jackets ;)
I just don't like the taste and the last time I cooked one in the oven (the last time being YEARS ago) it went wrong and tasted horrible.. whereas microwave ones I've never messed up..
I don't know why I don't like the taste of oven ones.. tis very strange I know ;)

    !!!!

I love oven baked ones as I love having crunchy skins which are much easier to achieve in the oven.

I once managed to turn a potato into a lump of charcoal whilst microwaving it - the whole house stank for days

:rotfl::rotfl:done that a few times myself bmn :rotfl:

Caravan TJ - although got a letter saying downgraded our caravan (even though had the cheapest one already ) so bit concerned about that:confused:
Before you read the rest, bear in mind that we had a lovely holiday. :D

I hate to add extra worries but I ended up in tears at the main reception begging them to find us other accommodation (Eurocamp just lease a small part of the park which has their own accommodation - jungalows and caravans) but they were fully booked! We were aware when we booked that the caravans are small but it didn't really hit us until we got in there just how small they are! We also had lousy weather as Easter was the end of March last year and the caravans are designed for the summer so we couldn't keep warm at night! In good weather, you'd be able to spend a lot of time outdoors so you'd have a lot more space. I would love to see the caravans in good weather because they're in a really pretty part of the park, amongst forestry surrounded by birds and red squirrels. It's a very large park though (not your typical Haven park, it's like a huge country park with accommodation dotted throughout) and the Eurocamp caravans are quite a way into it (5-10 minutes drive at 10mph!) so we got in the car to go anywhere! :rotfl:

I hope I haven't worried you further but just keep in mind that although it looked bleak when we arrived, we still managed to have a good holiday and in better weather, I'm sure it wouldn't seem bleak at all. Just be prepared for small accommodation, have some warm nightwear (or sleeping bags as it's just blankets - not duvets) packed just in case and some good walking shoes if you plan to walk to the facilities. :D
