Oh I agree, what I did was unreasonable & almost certainly not worth the effort.
However, you make it sound like there is a nationwide shortage of these netbooks, and by exploting this deal I have somehow deprived those in need.
Just as I have saved myself £24 by profiting from this venture, you could do the opposite and buy from a different supplier; probably spending ~£24 more than the Tesco price.0 -
I don't think you can buy these for only £24 more than the tesco price. I've been looking for one for a while, was just about to splash out £230 before this deal. I've seen the 110 for £135 but not the 150. Has anybody else seen these for about £155 (excluding ASDA a few months ago)? If you have, where? I doubt you can or this wouldn't be so hot on Hotdeals. That still sounds like a bargain to me!TehJumpingJawa wrote: »Oh I agree, what I did was unreasonable & almost certainly not worth the effort.

Mmmm - have you read this post - there certainly does appear to be a nationwide shortage of these at this price - probably because people like you bought them to make a profit.

Were the blue ones reduced to £129? - I did find these in my local store last night but they were coming up at the original price and they said that it was only the pink and white which were reduced, which were sold out.0 -
My wife bought a blue A150 for £129 yesterday0

The latter point being, you pay as much or as little as you can.
I bought 3, kept one, and used the other 2 to make the one I kept hold of even cheaper. (effectively £105).
Why should I forfeit a £24 reduction in the price, for the benefit of some hypothetical random stranger who I will never meet?
This site is about saving & making money, and sharing the advice with others so they can have a shot at it too. As far as I can tell, i've done nothing against that ethos, and actively support it when I can.
Do you think activities such as stooging with credit cards; switching banks & utility suppliers to chase good rates; exploiting bank promotions; Tesco DTD policy; or the miriad of other money making schemes on this site are all victimless?
Ofcourse not - everyone NOT exploiting the system ends up paying higher rates/charges/prices to compensate.
However friendly and helpful everyone is toward one-another on this board, you must realize that as consumers we are competing against one-another for ever-so-slightly bigger pieces of the same pie.
Ergo, I don't think it's right or fair to criticize anybody for exploiting a deal to it's maximum potencial.
Afterall, what comes-around goes around; there will always be other deals.0
