What the hell do I do about this? Expert advice please!

Ok, sold 3 items to a chap in Poland. He didn't email first to ask me for a postage cost, though I am happy to post abroad.

Weighs 3 kilos and dimensions of a small pampers nappy box. Took to post office, and due to the weight its coming up at £37 parcel force.

I'd rather not use a courier abroad as I've not done it before, (used loads to uk) and would rather it be relatively secure and I've not had any items so far undelivered by royal mail, when posting abroad, so like to stay with what I know for overseas items!

I asked him if he was happy to pay £37 or if he would like me to attempt to find it cheaper (was hoping he would pay....)

He then sent me this email:

Hi, I paied by PayPal it must be on monday 27.04.2009r. (I do not know if they deliver on Saturday) please send it to.: ********** Scotland U.K. I add 9 Pounds on transport (parcell) if It not enough please tell me I send on Your email.

He has paid £9.00 for postage, I know I can arrange a courier for this amount, but should I post to a different address than on his paypal? He has an unconfirmed address.

??????

He needs to add the other address to his paypal payment - to do this you'll need to refund him first.

  • So it's a Polish chap whose registered paypal adress is in Poland but wants it posted to his Scottish address?

You'd have to refund him, ask him to change his paypal address, then repay you to be covered by paypal.

Won't I have to pay a fee to refund?

PP fees are cancelled out when you refund a payment.
