Can someone please help me...
I have been clicking around for about 20 minutes now on A+L commercial bank's website and I can't find any details of a current account for a NFP.
I have applied for information on their Community Instant Reserve Account but I can't find anything for a current account, except the high interest chequing account which requires a £50,000 deposit
.
My original intention was to have one, interest-paying current account but only the Bank of Scotland seem to offer this (our balance is under £1,000) and they were extremely uncooperative when I rang them .
If we're going to have two accounts I would like them to be with the same bank so I can transfer money easily.
Please help me

Well, I can't see it either! And I did a search for 'Clubs and Societies' because I think that's what the account was called when I had one.
All I can suggest is phoning them. And if they've stopped it, have a good moan, because I always found it an EXCELLENT account. As I've said repeatedly on this board!
The other people who do pay interest on a current account are Unity Trust. Well they do for us, but we probably have a bit more in our account than you're likely to. BUT if you need to withdraw cash, you'll have to nominate two 'other' bank branches at which you want to do this and they'll write and set it up. It can be a bit of a palaver, because sometimes the 'other' banks 'lose' the cheque encashment authority: I've learned now that it may be filed under U for Unity rather than O for Our charity's name!
Still thinking outside the box: Triodos and maybe even the Coop? Not many branches, but when our charity banked with them we could withdraw and pay in cash at the Post Office.Signature removed for peace of mind0
