1) i am selling my old but damn good toyotal starlet and buying a new car! yay!! been offered £300 for trade in lmao its worth £1400 so not trading it in and wondered where people can recommend to sell it on that is free- have already done free ads and gum tree - want to sell it cheap and quick!

2) buying a new car!! any recommendations of where people have got good deals - some dealers seem to be relaly taking the #### with their prices - looking for an astra or seat ibiza or leon or similar (not citreon or renault or peugot under 4 years old with under 40000 miles on it for around £5500 - have seen a couple but would rather go on a recommendation

ta for your help in advance!
love you lots like jelly tots :o

    1) If you stand to make an extra £1100 from trade in to actual value why are you wanting somewhere to advertise it for free? as the previous free attempts have not worked.

We were offered £250 as a trade-in value for an old car we had. We sold it for £900 through an ad in the Belfast Telegraph.

Gumtree is free and we've sold a car and a motorbike on it. We got a good deal on a new Peugeot from Roadside motors in Lisburn. Very easy to deal with and in fact we got double what we'd hoped for on the trade in but you don't want a Peugeot..........

The starlet must be at least 10 yo, so to be honest I think you are a bit optimistic with that valuation. Good luck in getting that kind of money.

If you want to save on buying a car the best way is to get yourself a friend with some knowledge of cars and head up to Wilsons auctions in Mallusk. Only buy from the white ring and unless specified you will get a test drive in the car the next day. Last car I bought there was an astra and it was £1500 under bottom book price.

    excellent ta!

my father in law is a mechanic and he know lots about cars so that would be a good iedea! was a bit worried you would buy a car without driving it and be screwed with a heap of junk.

starlet actually 12 years old but only 83k on her and in perfect condition - these cars are good for at least 150k so a good few years out of her yet. only reason i selling is need a bigger car for babies!!
