Two lucky Fawlty fans will each win a pair of tickets to our Fawlty Towers Re-opened secret launch event in London on Wednesday 6th May at 9.30am where they'll meet the cast and attend a private screening of G.O.L.D.'s exclusive new show, Fawlty Towers Re-opened.

Plus, we've got a rather special Fawlty photo signed by John Cleese, Andrew Sachs, Prunella Scales and Connie Booth for the first runner-up and a Fawlty Towers Series 1 & 2 DVD for the next ten runners-up.

1. NAME OF COMPETITION: Win a chance to meet the cast of Fawlty Towers


2. COMPETITION QUESTION: In which seaside town was the Fawlty Towers hotel located?
(Answer options: Newquay, Torbay, Torquay)


3. PRIZE:

There will be 2 main prize winners, 1 main runner-up prize winners and 10 secondary runner-up prize winners.

The main prize shall consist of a pair of tickets to attend the Fawlty Towers press event at 9:30 am on Wednesday 6th May 2009, held in London's "Naval and Military Club" situated at No. 4, St. James's Square, London, SW1Y 4JU. The event will last no longer than 3 hours and the main prize winners will be given the chance to meet the cast and also attend a private screening of the show, "Fawlty Towers Re-opened".

Please note - we can't guarantee that the main prize winners will be able to take photos of, or have photos taken with the cast or that all the cast will attend the event, due to unforeseen circumstances such as sickness.

The main runner-up prize shall consist of a signed photo of the cast.

The secondary runner-up prize shall consist of a Fawlty Towers DVD (Series 1 and 2)

4. SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:

All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and resident in the UK.

All entrants must have the internet service bill payer’s permission prior to entering.

All entrants must provide a valid phone number which they can be contacted on during normal working hours from 9:00am on Wednesday 29th April until 6:00pm on Monday 4th May.

Main prize does NOT include transport to and from the venue or accommodation.

Main prize winners are not guaranteed entry or the chance to meet the cast if they arrive late due to any circumstances.

All entrants must be available and able to travel to the event location for 9:30am on Wednesday 6th May 2009.


5. COMPETITION PERIOD:

The Competition will be open between 3pm on Thursday 23rd April, 2009 and 23:59 on Tuesday 28th April, 2009. Any entries received outside of the Competition Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid but you may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.

6. WINNER SELECTION:

The Prize winners will be the first correct entries to be selected at random after the end of the Competition Period from all correct and eligible entries received.

The main Prize winners must claim the prize by successfully responding to the Promoter’s notification within 48 hours of the Promoter’s first notification being sent.

If either of the first main Prize winners drawn fail to respond or are deemed unsuitable then alternate Prize winner/s will be chosen. These alternate Prize winner/s must respond to claim the Prize by successfully responding to the Promoter’s notification within a reduced timescale, given at the time of notification.

The main runner-up Prize winners and the secondary runner-up Prize winners must claim their respective prizes by successfully responding to the Promoter’s notification within 21 days of the Promoter’s first notification being sent.


7. METHOD OF ENTRY & COST:

You can enter this competition free of charge on the UKTV Website at https://www.golaughdaily.co.uk. You will need to register yourself, free of charge, on the Website.

8. ENTRY LIMITATIONS:

Only one entry per person is allowed and multiple entries will result in an entrant being disqualified. Where a winner has been selected and UKTV discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe the winner has made more than one entry, UKTV shall have the absolute discretion to select an alternative winner. Any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these terms and conditions.
