sender receiver on the same channel? (usually 1 to 4) sorry but have to ask the obvious.
Made sure the Samsung is set (manually) to the right AV input in case its not autoswitching? (the scart from video senders is usually very basic video + stereo audio lines) so not all the pins connected, may not have the switching signal to make the Samsung go to that AV Input automatically.
Is the Sender receiver connected via a scart? some receivers have an RF output socket you connect to the aerial input of the TV. If you are using that then it outputs at normal UHF and a Digital TV in Freeview mode would not be able to see that.
Some AV senders now have eco modes where they can be off/on or auto. You press a button until the LED changes colour to ON, they forget if they are unplugged.
Is there an IN/OUT switch on any of the scart plugs? try it the other way.
If the sender came with AV connectors to scart adapters make sure you use the right one at the right end, tX or Transmitter one at sourse, RX Receiver one at remote TV.
Thats all that comes to mind initially.0 -
Thanks - yes, the senders are set to the same channel. I'm not sure what to manually set it as.....there's 'Ext' on the list. I can't work out which one relates to the scart (sorry - not technically minded at all!)0

looking through the manual for it, Ext is the one for the scart socket.0
