When you first go with a co you usually get an 'introductory' discount. At renewal the premium nearly always goes up because they hope that you won't bother shopping around and just pay the renewal.
We change co's pretty much every year because our insurance gets cheaper every year by doing so.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

I change insurers every year and we have five cars in the family, and each insurance is due at a different time, takes lots of time but substantial savings are made! If you look thru topcashback or similar and get money back it is even more worthwhile! Good luck0 -
I'm getting this too.
Insured with tesco last year for £515.
Get a letter of renewal that is £547 when i'm a year older and have built up a no claim bonus.
Went back to tesco website and did a brand new quote. £460.
Will be ringing them in the next few days to ask them what they're playing at.0 -
Quinn, rang me after i switched to Kwik fit offering me a discount, it waa too late i told them, asked them why they wouldnt offer me the discount before, they said it was a new policy .
Any ideas why anyone wouldn't recommend Kwik fit? i've just gone with them again

You know what they are playing at. So, why ask the question?

Best advice has got to be, start by using a price comparison site, once you have
found the best price, buy through a cashback site like Quidco, you can save as
much as 40%.0 -

You have got away from Quinn who in my opinion are one of the worse Insurers going and gone to Kwik Fit who are marginally better.
By the way Tamazapan how can you say Kwik Fit Insurance is underwritten by RSA when Kwik Fit are intermediaries and offer policies from lots of different Insurers. Your post could misslead MSE members0
