Post Office Home Phone

I've been looking at switching my line rental to the Post Office as they say it's £9.50 a month. However, reading through the T&Cs it seems the line is still with BT but the Post Office pay direct to BT for it? Also it says something about the calls being made through CPS which has thrown me a bit. We make calls through Just Dial (at weekends and eves) which means we already have a CPS on the line. So am I right in thinking that the Post Office would override this and so we wouldn't be better off switching to them?

If you move your line rental from BT, you cannot CPS your calls (via JD or any other firm).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

PO Home phone is really only suitable for low users. They charge you for every call you make via them. No things like Inclusive 01/02 Call Bundles.PF.0
