Hi folks,

having problems setting up a fairly old computer with a new lcd tv I have bought which is PC compatible. In a nutshell, I have bought a VGA to DVI converter & I still get a no DVI signal appearing on the TV. I am assuming now that my problem is the graphics card - so am about to get a new one. My question is / are i) is it likely to be my graphics card which is the problem (not sure exactly which one it is, but it is a good few years old) ii) What graphics card am I better off getting - this PC is a real basic one which I just need for a bit of surfing & Word peocessing ie no games at all, therefore I don't want to go out & get an all singing all dancing one.

My comp has a Pentium 3 833 Mhz, has about 256 MB & 10 GB (I think !!)

Cheers in advance as always,

Paul.
