Seller wants money sent to another paypal account

I bought something this week on eBay. After buying the item the seller sent me an email saying that their account was playing up and asked if I could send the money to their husband's paypal account.
I logged in to paypal and there is no longer an option to put an email address in for the payment to go to if it is an eBay item. I have told the seller I am happy to wait until their account is sorted but they have told me to send the money via paypal as goods rather than eBay items. It's only about £15 but does anyone know if I would still be covered if the item didn't turn up or if they didn't send it? The seller has a feedback of less than 5 which is what is making me cautious.
Thanks.

You would be covered if the goods don't turn up as long as what you are buying is clearly stated, however you have no other claims with paypal once you go 'off' ebay as the seller wants. So for instance if they send a damaged or fake item you would struggle with a paypal claim.
This can be a mark of a scammer, although frankly it seems unlikely for a £15 item. personally I would hold out and stick by your earlier statement to pay once they have their paypal sorted out, be really nice and say you are sure they appreciate that paypal have advised you not to make a payment otherwise for both your own and for the sellers protection.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As far as I'm aware, as long as the ebay item number is correctly linked into the payment, it's like a normal payment
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

This was the bit that worried me.

OP if you can link the ebay item to the address then it is fine as Fay suggests.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. ^^ I had the exact same thing a while back, had to add a credit card onto my PP account and for a week or so I had to ask buyers to send payment to another paypal account (hubby's!) I suppose there's always the chance its a scammer but just to let you know that problems sometimes really do arise.0

She'd probably send you a Request for payment via the Paypal account of her husband.. and her doing that manually allows her to insert the eBay item number, username etc.. so it keeps it safe.0

Thanks for the replies. No, it won't let me link the eBay item number to the paypal payment. I know it used to do this before but maybe Paypal have changed it for this reason.
I think I'll ask her to send me an invoice, she might be able to link the payment to the eBay number her end. The other thing I was thinking of was saying to her to add her email address to her husband's paypal account but I don't know if that wouldn't be allowed if it is already linked to her own account. I know it's not a large amount to risk, but I'm in no hurry for the item.0
