They're all much of a muchness nowadays, you can probably find one a few pence cheaper if you look around. 256mb is more than enough for general documents etc.

Ebuyer always seem to have "special" deals on these sorts of kit.

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

Amazon have a Sandisk 1GB USB 2.0 Cruzer micro flash drive - £30 and free postage. I bought one, fantastic, tiny and neat and goes on your key ring.

We've recently bought the Sandisk one from Amazon and like Lulubelle are very pleased with it. It's tiny, has a big 1GB memory and is very simple to use.

Viking 1GB USB Flash Drive 2.0 here

This one also seems to be popular, I've been wondering whether to buy one myself:

It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.

I just bought this one :D

Warning to all though. They can fail. I had tons of files on a laptop backed up by a data key. Would you believe the laptop was flooded beyonf repair and the data key failed at the same time! (not plugged in, just coincidence).

That was a tragic day
