Firefox stops responding

Randomly Firefox will just stops responding, what can i do to solve this issue , many thanks

You'll have to be a bit more specific. I had a problem with firefox a while ago where it would just hang and not load any webpages, then when I closed Firefox, the actual process was still running in the background and it wouldn't let me end it. The only way to fix was to restart windows. It turns it was a problem with Windows vista and Zonealarm firewall free edition. For some reason Zone Alarm would just stop firefox from loading webpages after a certain amount of time.

If your problem sounds anything like mine then thats probably it. Only thing to do for now is get rid of zonealarm and get a different firewall, i suggest Comodo. It's still free.

If you Google for "firefox stops responding" plus the name of your OS you will find plenty of guides, including some on Mozilla's own support website.

If you are sure that your PC is clear of malware then probably the simplest solution would be to download the latest release, uninstall Firefox and then reinstall it using the latest version.
