Help... my keyboard has just started typing backwards... but only in IE (I think)... any suggestions?

sounds like a virus. Or more likely someone has installed a prank software tool.
I got my screen turned upside down once !0 -
Sounds like the wrong keyboard/language option is selected and the bidirectional application supporting Explorer is doing it while the unidirectional application notepad isn't.
Check the language and keyboard settings from control panel.They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0 -
Probably spyware or a browser hijacker. Follow the instructions in the Spyware/Malware Guide sticky.
Also, since you're probably used to backwards text by now, you might find it easier to use this particular Google to search for the problem.
