Ebay phone number, please?

Does anyone have Ebay's customer support number? I used to be able to find it under "Help" but am not having any luck.

Many thanks

  • I think you have to use their 'Live Chat' now instead of actually calling them. I couldn't see a telephone number anywhere.

    Here's the link - http://contact.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ContactUsNextGen
Just click on the issues until the Live Chat option appears on the right-hand side.

Many thanks - I have just contacted Live Chat. "Live what" is all I can say!

Hi - thanks for that. Are you a Power Seller? I read somewhere that only Power Sellers are able to call customer support. The number is not on my My Ebay page.

A contact number is given out to selected members and all powersellers.

Certainly with the PS Support line, you have to give them your account number before they will continue with the call - not sure if the same applies to the regular number above.

I will give it a try and see if I get anywhere - it has to be better than Live Chat!

I have always found Live Chat very helpful, they sorted out a problem I had the other day in a matter of minutes.

I called the customer support number and it is only for selected sellers. However, they did agree to help me.

    A successful outcome, thank you!

No not a power seller don't know why it's on my ebay page.
  • I'm not a power seller and yet it apprears on my page and I've rung them a few times.

Although one hitch. The item i was talking about and had a prob with was in Cardiff. The lady asked me where's that?

I quote, "I've never heard of it, is in Africa or somewhere?".

    I kid you not!
