Reliable London MOTs/Skingles garage

Don't know if anyone can help, but I used to use a brilliant garage in Hackney called Skingles, which only did MOTs, no repairs. The guys were brilliant and really knew their stuff, and were totally honest. Only went once a year, obviously, but it was great, even if they failed you! It's a sign of their quality that people came from as far away as Southend!

Imagine my horror therefore when I drove past their garage a couple of months ago and saw that it had been flattened! Am now panicking about where to go in future. I therefore have two questions - please, please, please does anyone know if they have just moved to new premises (and if so where?) or have any old Skingles customers found anywhere else that comes anywhere near their service?

No idea about them as I'm from the other side of the river.

I use this MOT only testing station in deptford: http://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/default.asp?session_ID=0&pid=47 for the past few years with different cars.

Today my 11 years old ford fiesta passed without any problem. £45 Fee.

Martin has something on this, basically you can go to council MOT centres who do just the test and not the repairs so they aren't out to get all your cash.
