Weed Killer Watering Can

Made the classic mistake of not labelling my weed killer watering can. Last time I used either was about 2 years ago and now I cant remember which is which.

Would weed killer still be active after 2 years, or could I clean both cans in some way to neutralise the threat?

When I used to use glyphosphate I just used to wash the can out a couple of times and then it was fine.
I would have thought, no matter what it was you used, it wouldn't be active now, but swill it out a couple of times to make sure.
