We pay £1 for 4 pints in our local corner shop.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

For the last 3 months or so we've been buying our milk at a local corner shop 69p for 2 litres - sadly it's just gone up so we've had to go back to where we were buying it from before (for the last year or so) 74p for 2 litres !!

The local corner shop sells 6 pints for £1.15 and milk around here has always been cheaper than the supermarkets.

    thats right harrie,
its the way supermarkets do promotions and marketing strategies.

at the end of the day, it benefits the customer and the supermarket/store.

    win win situation!
