Stolen Motorcycle

Hello!
My partner's motorcyle has been stolen and I'm after a bit of advice.
It was stolen on Tuesday evening while I was at home , from the front garden. Unfortunately I didn't discover it until yesterdaty evening when I came home from work. Partner is on a business trip so I have called the police to report it and his insurance company. The police informed me that it was driven on Tuesday at 10pm as they have a police report involving it. My partner knows about it's theft and he is undersatndably annoyed!
My questions are:
He's worried that the little lovelies who stole it might have racked up some speeding fines or such. Will these come to him and how does he contest them - is it difficult?
Do I need to inform the DVLA at all?
Has anyone else experienced something similar - any advice??
Thanks in advance!!

Easy, just return any NIP's back to the police together with a copy of the crime number. It will already be on the PNC as stolen.
No need to tell the DVLA.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
