25% tax free pension cash. What did you do with it?

DH applied for his 25% payment in February. It was all agreed back then and we felt like we'd won the lottery at the time but it's all gone a bit stale now because it's taking so long to be paid out.
We were finally told, 7 working days ago, that it will be in our account 'within seven working days' !! I've driven myself round the bend ever since then and I have checked the account twenty times every day (just in case) - I just can't wait! But it's still not there - and today is day 7!!
I rang the IFA man this morning and he said I should let him know if it's not in our account by Monday (I'll be dead by then) and he'd try to sort it out (Arghh!).

If it ever arrives, we plan to do the house up with it(the heating, bathroom, wiring etc were installed in 1964 by the previous owners, as were the carpets) but I'm not sure I can wait any longer - it's worse than waiting for Christmas when I was a child.

DH isn't quite as wound-up as I am because he's out of the country a lot, and is really busy, but I'm on a self-combustion course.

I have to go, now - it's time for my hourly check on the bank account!

Thank you, Lilac, but it wasn't there at 3.30pm....

I think I need to calm down and wait until tomorrow before checking again, lol!
