Hello
I have two meters all the online comparison switching services seem to assume you have 1 meter.
We have a standard meter and 1 for cheap rate night electric for our immersion & storage heaters.
Does anyone know of a company that allows for 2 meters.
We are desperate to switch and save some cash please help.

There are suppliers that do this - its known as Economy 7. You should see the option on the supplier's web-sites, and the price comparison sites.
P.S. you're not a freak (there are plenty of people out there with Economy 7 meters).0 -
I think the OP is referring to what is known as HEATWISE tarrifs.
Basically, you have two meters. The 1st is normal and records day units at full price and night units at the economy 7 rate.
The 2nd meter is a dedicated meter connected to the hot water cylinder in the house and it keeps the water hot all the time by 'coming on' three times a day (usually 6.30am, 2.00pm and 7.00pm) to account for morning showers, lunchtime dishes and evening baths. The rate charged is usually a little higher than Economy 7 and much less than the normal day rate.
It is a problem trying to compare these rates online to be honest. I'm the same. I'm currently with Atlantic Electric who provide this, previously I was with PowerGen.
Hope that helps for now.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
