eBay- cancelling sale after sale??

I had an item advertised on eBay, advertised as to post to UK only, and the winning bid was abroad, meaning postage would be more etc etc, therefore I want to cancel the sale.
Is this possible??

No you can't cancel the sale, all you can do is hope the buyer will agree to a mutual cancelation to get your fees back, although even then they remain eligible to leave you feedback.
Much easier to have your auctions set up properly in the first place, Start from here to set buyer requirements to exclude overseas bidders or bidders with NPB strikes etc.
