For anyone one else who wants to save some money:money:
I used a price comparison site:-
(can't post link so its conveyancing-cms.co.uk)
They came up about £800 cheaper than my local solicitors I think if you don't have a complex sale its grand!
We haven't exchanged contracts yet but the solicitors they have recommended (they send 3 quotes, 1st one is cheapest, 2nd one is the nearest one if available, then 3rd is next cheapest I think?)
If you then decide to go ahead you have to pay £224 (with VAT) and they then pass your details to the solicitor and you get the solicitors details sent to you! They also follow up with a call afterwards to check that the solicitors have been in touch!
So far so good!
They gave me a recommend a friend form where I get £50 however that is against the rules so I won't post that:beer:
Hope it helps someone else out:D
