Capital One - 15 months interest free

I'm in the same position as Mintymoneysaver's DH. I applied online by entering the relevant code. Capital One said they could not make a decision straight away. They then wrote to me and asked me to send the last three months' statements from my Egg Money card i.e. the card I wanted the money transferred to. I sent this off together with a covering letter explaining that I needed the money for a loan instead of paying off a credit card debt. I guess some honesty may help.
Got a letter yesterday returning my Egg Money statements and a compliment slip saying they will write to me in 7-10 days with a decision. I guess I have to wait and see.

The Capital One card all seems like a very long process. Hmmmm. I think I may just go for the 9 months no BT fee and see whats about then.
I must say that when I had a Captial One card about 3 years ago they were extremely good.
My dilemma is that I was conned out of the money that is the Credit Card debt, have no chance of getting the money back and the CPS has decided there isn't enough evidence to issue a warrant for the con-man's arrest, (and even if there were and he was prosecuted, I would never see the money!) so I am quite determined for the debt to (a) not cost me any money, and (b) not cause me any hassle. I have an excellent credit rating and could, in theory repay the debt from my savings, but obviosuly that would be costing me interest. The Capital One deal would mean in the long run less hassle, but would obviously incur a cost. The deal that is coming to an end is the Lloyds TSB 1 year 0% deal that has caused me more hassle than any other financial organisation I have ever dealt with. The stress of realising I was conned out of the money is enough, I don't want stress with the 0% deal.
I would be grateful if someone could confirm my maths are correct on the fee front from my last post?
