Graphics Card help

HelloLet me tell you a story.My computer wouldnt let me log into windows and just kept looping the boot screen.Anyway I put in a reboot cd and now I my graphics card does not show up when everything is loaded.Also my computer is very slow nowI have an AMD 64*2 dual core 3800 processor 2.01 ghz 2.0gb of RAMCan anyone help please

    So glad you liked my story LOLwhat I meant was the graphics card an NVidia one used to show a litlle icon in the bottom left of the screen but this no longer appears

    Oh you mean the light green icon in the system, on the bottom right near the clock? I always disable that, personally! :rotfl:

    Try right-clicking a blank area of your desktop, and see if NVIDIA Control Panel shows up in the menu. If so, then open it up and you should be able to put the icon back from within the View menu.

    Reinstalling your drivers might be another option, if they've been uninstalled without your knowledge. Download the drivers for your card and system from NVIDIA's website (link) - then uninstall any of NVIDIA's software from Add/Remove Programs, found in Control Panel.
