hi all, sure you folks can shed some light on this, my frisa has just matured with nationwide and i reinvested it with them again for one year with a fixed rate of 3% but it is showing on my internet account as (mat) has there been a mistake made ? or is this what they are calling them this year?

When did you re-invest it? It can take several days for the internet site to update. If it matured more than 3 days ago, it'd be worth ringing them to confirm that it has been re-invested.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Try using the Message facility on their website - usually works for me (eventually!)"The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0

thanks for the replies, it was done in branch about ten days ago but the frisa did not expire till the 19th so will give it a bit longer to see if it gets sortedEveryday the sunshine’s is a good day0

i just transfered some money from a nationwide cash isa to a frisa. Was a bit of a rigmorale as you have to do it in branch, then i had to wait ages for a advisor to do it.
Anyway on the form was something about 2009-2010 isa allowance. Neway i didnt get time to read it. So by opening this frisa thing with nationwide does that mean they have renewed my isa allocation with nationwide even though the money i`m moving is already in a cash isa?
I`m confused, i thought there might of been a catch to the frisa things offering 10x the rate of the instant access isa.
I was planning on using my isa allowance elsewhere looks like im stuck with nationwide now.0 -

If that was an earlier year cash ISA you transferred .... then you can still use the 09-10 allowance elsewhere. A transfer effectively moves 'the same' ISA to a different provider. So it remains a closed year.
But if the transfer included any contribution at all from 6th Apr 09 ..... then you're limited to the one with Nationwide (unless you transfer it again) ..... as it's still your current year ISA.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
