    You guys are all lucky. My local council and the local councils where most of my family live give diddly-squat whether you want to pay for it or get it free.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

    (If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

    i went to the local riding school with some garden refuse bags and helped myself to some manure. they had mountains of it. surprisingly they said they don't get many people asking for it:confused: i chose the older piles of it and it was rotted fairly well. it didn't pong either.

    i have put a layer of about 3inches in the bottom of my raised beds and have then put a layer of cheap compost over that. i want to get some topsoil now and mix it into the compost.

    then the fun can begin.:T
