I have just changed to freeview on my plasma tv.
One thing that worries me is the small interactive "red button" symbol (top right of the tv screen). Because it's on permanently, would this cause a problem with plasma burn?

It shouldn't cause a problem with screen burn but if you're worried -
Most tv remotes have a button that will remove the red dot. On my Panasonic its the green button but if that doesn't work have a look in the manual or just have a play with the other buttons till it goes away.0 -
It's not dependent on the TV or the remote - the green button will get rid of it on any Freeview receiver.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

Also in some Box's you can set the "On screen notifications" like the red button symbol to time out after 5 mins or so. It depends on the device...Laters

the green but did the trick with the red button, but now I have the same problem with the menu blue button (top right of screen), the green button doesn't disable this one. Any ideas?0
