I'd have the Starlet too, but don't think that parts would be any cheaper than the Peugeot - they haven't been in my experience (wife's had one for 9 years - alternator is over £200 without the labour for example).

On the face of it, the Ka sounds good too. Slightly unrefined, but it's cheap on parts and fairly good to drive.

depends on price and what you need persoanly i'd not have the ka but you need to see it etc
