    ok HFO want my help there unhappy with MBNA selling the debt knowing all along i was going bankrupt
    HFO say that they will have the debt £5,000 cleared of my account as a settled debt? i fail to see what use that is to me as i have gone bankrupt?i dont really want help them but my OR says she things i should assit them in anyway i can ?i can only find a letter that abbey sent me saying that they were informed of my plan to go bankrupt(funny all our MBNA and Abbey Letters went in the same envelope!!) but i do have 2 letters from MBNA dated 2nd and 5th october saying about going bankrupt and the life i would have after it!! do you think these would help at all? i do have lots of tapes from phonecalls with them and on every call i state im going bankrupt should i give them these to?

    Your debt will show as settled anyway, due to your bankruptcy. Forget what the OR says, you are under NO OBLIGATION whatsoever to help these parasites. Tell them to **** off.

    now the call are coming thick and fast CSL dont listen to what you tell them first of they call my home and tell my wife straight away there a debit collection agency tisk tisk!! Data protection act not apply to them!!Shes a polite lady tells them the situation and not to call again then 2 hours later some one else calls back from CSL again same thing wife now fed up tells them to read there screen and bog offf!
    So what do the do??Call me at work! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
    i tell them no uncertain terms Dont call me at all you know im bankrupt!! deal with the OR were do they get these people?????
    You know its not funny i have tried to do the right thing and yet they still call you, Me i know laugh at them!! but some will feel under even more stress what can be done about these people????
  • but if you wre declared BR on 27/10 did the credit card know by 01/11? unless you had told them yourself, the OR would not have told them that quickly...

    We had the same situation - we declared on 27/10 and a CC sold the debt on 1/11 - the buyer of the debt wasnt v happy - the words "oh they have been naughty" - it brought a big smile to my face

    Harassed is right, I myself would have no contact with any of my creditors post bankruptcy, be careful, they may be working an angle on you.

    Ignore them, you might incriminate yourself.
