Chessington - is one day enough?

Hi,
I am planning to use Tesco clubcard vouchers to buy passes at Chessington for the family in August this year.
My question is whether one day is enough to do it all? - I have accomodation in the Leatherhead area arranged at a decent price so could easily stay for the second day.
My family is 2 adults and 2 girls aged 9 and 7.
I very much appreciate yuor thoughts.
I have tried to phone Chesington direct but unable to speak to them direct!
Best wishes and enjoy the sun

1 day is enough if you want to rush round
2 days if you want to do it at a more relaxed pace

one day should be fine, you won't be bothering with the babies rides as your children are older, i would say as long as you get there early and try to get in line for the big rides asap. then one day is more than enough.

the sealife centre is good but won't take longer than 20 mins.

hope you have a nice day.
  • I went recently with a friend and our kids (ages ranging 4 - 8 yrs old), so 6 of us altogether. We went on the recent Easter Bank Holiday Monday and not only managed to get round the park and go on pretty much all the family rides (we didn't go on the rollercoasters as some of the children weren't big enough), we also went round the zoo, aquarium and had time to go for a second go on some of the rides.

We did arrive early though around 9am, so started to queue early as the park doesnt open till 10am and we didn't leave till 7pm. The park was meant to close at 6pm, but they kept it open, I am assuming, because of the nice weather and the amount of people?

So I would definately say one day is enough!
