We just turned up - but were travelling off peak. Don't know about mid-summer.0 -
i'm from luton, the car park is never that busy.

Yes, I did just turn up and there was plenty of spaces. (Although that was in March). As far as I am aware it is still £4 per day or £20 per week. You just see the man in the office and book it for a week.
Not sure if the shuttle bus is 24 hours. I arrived at about 5am and it was running then.
