Virgin Credit Card, any ideas?

Afternoon all

I applied to Virgin online for a credit card to enable me to BT roughly £3700 from my Halifax card ( I have reduced this in the last 9mths while it has been on 0% from £7400).

The reply i got was "we will need to access your application and let you know in 7-10 days" (or something along those lines).

I am self-empolyed with last years income being at £33500.

Just wanted to know if anyone has also had this response and what was the outcome.

Or is this just a way of declining in the current banking state.

You'll just have to be patient I'm afraid. It's a standard "we're thinking about it" response.

I personally got this response last year when I applied to them. They eventually asked me to call them, and I did and we had a quick chat to confirm my previous addresses, after that I got approved. Hope you do too!

Thanks for that NZseries1. It's just that on my end of may statement the Halifax will then revert to an interest charging rate and i would like to BT b4 this happens.

Anyone else had experiences of Virgin

I think it would be extremely unlikely for it to take that long. Good luck.

Hopefully other people will have suggestions too.
