New garden!
Hi there,
I am moving into a new house this weekend which has a lovely big garden, including a polytunnel! :j
I've tried growing fruit and veg before but only in tubs, and didn't do very well...
I'm just looking to find out what would be the best thing to start off with, I'm a bit worried I may be too late in the year for a lot of the things I was hoping to grow (potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes etc).
Thanks!

Well if you got started straight away you would be ok with most things , although you wouldn't get much of a crop from strawberries this year..
As you moving into a new house though will you not be spending time setting the house straight before you have time for the garden?
Maybe the house fairies can take care of the house and you can do what I enjoy best which is spending time in the garden... good luck and enjoy your new house and garden...#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Hoping the house fairies will do the house! I don't have a garden in the house I am moving out of, so I think I am more excited about the garden than the house itself!!0

I've planted one lot of my seed potato's but I have another four lots to plant over the next few months so it depends on the variety - you should be able to do well with potatos.0

You'll get loads of help on the Greenfingered board, so I'll move you over there
