i had a similar thing with tesco creditcard online a few weeks ago. it turned out i had a virus in internet explorer? try switching to firefox (if not on it) and see if you can access the site altho i wouldnt input passwords etc, just see if it will let you get as far as trying to log in.
i'm sure someone more technical will help you. i got the problem after upgrading to IE8 if thats anyhelp. system restore didnt help me either. hope you get it sorted.0 -
Run thorough scans of course, but have you tried just phoning them? They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

Thanks very much, i hadnt considered firefox. I just downloaded it and managed to log in successfully. So i assume I have a problem with internet explorer. ( I don't have IE8 yet , seen friends with it having problems so I kept clear ). I have McAfee total protection including virus checker but it hasnt picked anything up.
That phrase is an oxymoron. McAfee is your problem, it is not a good anti virus and you would be much safer switching to Kaspersky (which is currently free with Barclays Online Banking). No free lunch, and no free laptop

That's the whole point. Because it doesn't detect things efficiently, you simply don't know when you are infected. Unless you had visited that particular site, you might not have ever realised. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thanks. I haven't rung them because I can log in from other machines so I assumed the problem was at my end not their's.
Will try another virus checker and run a full scan
Get avira, i'd trust it more than shoddy mcafee, and it's free. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
If you haven't tried it already clearing cookies/browing history etc under the internet options button, might solve the problem.0
