I had a quick look, but can't see any difference between the standard Wesabe and the Telegraph version, except the Telegraph header. Is there any reason to choose the Telegraph version?0 -
not that I know of, 'pie. I just thought wesabe was American, and the telegraph version isn't.
i don't use it.0 -
Try kublax . com - (New user so can't post links yet) similar to mint.com. Allows you to connect to your online bank accounts and see your finances in one place.0

Anyone used any of these sites? Up until 2 days ago, I used MS Money but now nationwide has dropped support I am looking for an alternative. None of these seem to keep track of any shares you have, are there any alternatives?0

I haven't decided which one to drop - Nationwide or MS Money. If there's a good alternative to MS Money (I've used it for years, thsi is the third version I had), that's secure to use, I'd be happy to hear. I'm nervous about using something web-based, storing all my details in one place (though I'm quite happy to use internet banking - that's my logic for you!).
I've been with Nationwide for years for all my main banking and saving, but the last 18 months have been of poor service and shocking interest rates, even by recession standards.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
Yeah - I'm looking for a UK based Money management solution since Nationwide have dropped MS Money support. There are a few different solutions out there and a good place to start {can't post links yet} is to search Google for good-bye-microsoft-money-16-powerful-personal-finance-programs. Some good info on there.0

Simple research will show that it was Microsoft that dropped Money, not Nationwide.0

Can't agree. If MS dropped the program in the UK years ago. Why would a bank cover the continuing cost of support?
This is not to suggest that NW are great but they did pay for support. They did give the program away for free.
No other bank support Money, why has NW become the bad guy?0 -

Offering downloadable transactions has nothing to do with MS Money. There are many other software packages that accept QIF downloads. QIF is a format that Nationwide could have implemented at the drop of the hat if they'd wanted to. Nearly every other bank and credit card company does so. I have accounts with 7 financial institutions - only the Nationwide doesn't offer QIF downloads. What has that got to do with Microsoft? It's more about bad customer service.
I didn't say they should go on to provide the SAME service. Yes MS pulled support for money but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't offer the ability to download transactions for those who want them. They offer CSV downloads, adding QIF support wouldn't take them very much programming at all. There are free software products around that convert CSV files into QIF files so it is obviously possible and would be easy to implement. I fail to see how not providing a service that every other bank provides is releated to the failure of the MS Money product. More like failure of the Nationwide.
(Incidentally not everyone got their copy of Money for free!0
