House & Storage Insurance

I have just got my renewal notice for my house insurance - but I am moving in 6 weeks - so don't want to renew with the AA as they don't do storage insurance and will charge me a £75 cancellation fee. Does anyone know a company that will do 6 weeks house contents insurance and then carry it over for storage insurance?

I don't but you should get out the yellow pages and find yourself a local personal lines broker who can find a company that can provide the cover you need. I have never heard of temporary home insurance cover though.

Try searching for prices for your current and new properties. Fine the company that is at or near the top for both and buy a years cover with them. Just make a mid term adjustment when you move?
