Lets just say that Barclays really do not like me and i really dont like them either. The mutual non-appreciation association:rotfl::rotfl:

I have a solution though....i saw in one of the wife's magazines that i could get up to £1000 cash in hand for a kidney if i live in some wierd part of africa. Have heard similar about india and parts of eastern europe if you want to take a trip over the weekend

Thanks for the branch finder though sieve, closest branch is 29.7 miles away so i may just take a drive up there with the kids and draw the money out. Before you drive there why not give them a call and see how this can be resolved. [/QUOTE]

Good luck with this, I'm sure it will work out alright.

A&L told me that I could ring and pre-arrange to take a larger sum of money out from a specific post office - they need 24 hours notice though.

I think you can do the same with co-op - as EnslavedbyDebts said ;)

  • Why not just ring the Co-op and ask if they have a solution? There might be something we hadn't thought of. Good luck.

All good advice folks, thanks very much.

I am sure they can do some sort of same day transfer (for a fee) via telephone banking to your rent/bond.

Better to have an electronic record of the transaction rather than handing over that much cash in any case.
