Network Card Zone Changed?

My wife attempted to buy a ticket today from Waterloo to Honiton (Devon) on South West Trains using her Network Card, a route we have used for many years with the Network Card discount. She was told that due to a zone change, Honiton was no longer available on a Network Card.
Can any anyone else advise what this is all about? I have looked on the Railcard site and the network card zone clearly shows Honiton to be still included.

That seems wrong, Network rail boundaries haven't changed at all. (As far as I'm aware)

What time train was she catching? It might be the case that any easements have changed...

Around 6pm Friday evening. That's always been available before and no restrictions are shown on the Railcard page for that line.
I subsequently spoke to National Rail Enquiries and they said Honiton was most certainly still valid.

On the fares database a Network Railcard discounted fare is coming up for this route. Therefore it is a valid route, and you can use your railcard.

If the railcard wasn't valid it would not allow a discounted fare.
