I cant swop supplier please help

Hi
I am with Southern electric I want to look around for the cheapest supplier BUT we have storage heaters that charge overnight on cheap rate electric.
I believe I hope wrongly that we can't swop because other suppliers don't do the cheap rate night time electric.
Is this true or am I confused???????????
Desperate to save some money if possible.

It sounds like you have economy 7, which is used for you night storage heaters. Lot of people have economy 7 and don't have storage heaters and this should not prevent you from changing supplier. There is another similar tariff where you get 10 hours at the cheap rate but your bills should tell you exactly what tariff you are on.
