Decaffinated Coffee??

I quite like morrisons own brand de-caff, drink Douwe Egberts normally but this is a decent alternative.
You can get 'real' coffee decaffeinated too.0 -
We buy organic fair-trade instant coffee called Clipper from Tesco. It's better in our opinion than Kenco/nescafe etc, obviously not as good as the real thing.0

I definately agree with YBNB and others- Kenco decaff is the best. I'm also pregnant, and was told that caffeine in large quantities isn't good for the baby, thats why I switched. I used to get headaches if I didn't have my usual caffeinated coffee in the mornings, now I don't - theres no-way I could go back to drinking the old stuff (even though I can't taste the difference)July Win: Nokia 58000

My Mum buys fairtrade decaf coffee which she uses in her cafetiere. She says it's rather good, though I haven't tried it.zar wrote:It is fairtrade fortnight atm so perhaps an ideal opportunity for you to give it a go. :cheesy: You might even find it on offer somewhere as part of an associated promotion.
For anyone who wants to know more about fair trade, here's the link to the fair trade website

I drink Lidl Decaff. Really nice stuff and very cheap0

I always buy organic de-caff coffee-usually Clipper from Tescos.
I have read/heard that normal decaff coffee is full of chemicals and crap, but organic decaff coffee is okay.0 -

Got to agree with others that Kenco Decaff is the nicest. Good luck with cutting down - I was a 10 mug a day addict 2 years ago and went cold turkey - what a nightmare week that was (for everyone!). BUT I no longer have a nagging background headache, and (even more worryingly) my lower back pain I'd had since giving birth almost vanished too - maybe my kidneys couldn't cope. :undecided0

I would love to switch to Decaf but I am so moody without my daily caffine fix some one would force feed it with after 5 minutes.0

A nice drink which is very similar tasting to coffee but without any caffeine in it is Caro. You can get it in health shops and it is nice made with milk too. I need to get some more of it. There is also Barley Cup but I'm not too keen on the taste, Caro is slightly sweeter tasting, not bitter.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot.
