My OH swears by Decaf Gold Blend and won't drink the ordinary Nescafe
We try to be ethical shoppers, but he doesn't like any other coffee apart from 'real' or Nescafe :eek:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
OH used to swear by Kenco decaff and wouldn't drink anything else. These days he takes some of the Tesco Value coffee to work and we have some fresh coffee and our coffee maker for at home.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I am a coffee addict and have had to switch to decaf because of pregnancy. The Kenco brand is quite nice. I haven't liked other brands so I was glad to have found one I could drink.0

I have cafedirect decaff coffee if I want coffee late at night and it tastes nice to me, I doubt I'd be able to tell you its decaff. But tastes in coffee seem to vary a lot from person to person, so guess its down to trial and error.

(It is fairtrade fortnight atm so perhaps an ideal opportunity for you to give it a go. :cheesy: You might even find it on offer somewhere as part of an associated promotion.):shhh: There's somewhere you can go and get books to read... for free!

Was this a personal choice or is caffeine not recommended in general if you are pregnant?:shhh: There's somewhere you can go and get books to read... for free!

I drink Tescos own brand (not value) decaf coffee, its lovely, and ive given it to hardened coffee drinkers, and only told them that it was decaf after they had finished, they didnt have a clue!!!! Ive got Nescafe gold blend decaf at the moment, but it isnt as good, will def be going back to the Tesco one!!!!0

I'm a coffee addict and tend to drink Nescafe Gold Blend in the day and switch to the decaff after 5pm (I have 2 spoonfulls in each cup so wouldn't sleep otherwise!). I can tell the difference between the decaff and proper one but it is an adequate substitute.
Nothing compares to coffee from a real coffee maker IMO though.:smileyhea0 -
Second what finc says about real coffeemaker being the ultimate, but in instant, I go for Kenco decaff:

Which tastes the same to me. I'm a one heaped spoon, no sugar, lots of milk boy though, so if you're a black, no sugar person, you might notice the difference, if there is one!0
