Anyone noticed the new womens razor add..cant think off hand whats its called....but it shows women doing various things, like shopping, swimming etc, and every time they walk past a bush, it 'neatens' up.
When my husband saw it, he almost inhaled his cup of tea, I had no idea at first what he was chocking about, quite subtle until you know what they are on about!!!:rotfl:
...snip...
My pet hate is the one where the poor child has to tell us all he's done his business on the toilet... surely that ad constitutes child abuse?I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I love the Mitsubishi (I think) advert where the boy asks his dad where he came from. Then afterwards he says 'that's so cool, cause such and such only comes from Scotland!' - can't remember the actual names/places.
Hate sofa ads, funeral plan ads and equity release ads.
Actually, the current Halifax ads are Auckland locations.
The current Lotto ad is too, and I've been in the shop that the guy walks out of with his ticket in hand.0 -
I like the meerkat one, the cadburys ones and other silly ads. I loved the guinea pigs advertising Egg a while back.
I hate any sexist ad (and there are a lot). One of my pet hates is ones for cereals or cereal bars which are invariably foul tasting and made of cardboard, and aim their ads at women. They usually show women in some advanced stage of an eating disorder, hallucinating cakes and junk food all over the place. They imply that this sort of mental issue can be cured magically by said cardboard cereal product - and you will lose weight too! Of course you will, if you only eat 1 proper meal and 2 bowls of nutrition-free muck per day!
I also dislike Iceland ads and others for washing/cleaning products which feature women (and especially those like Mr Muscle or Calgon where a man patronisingly explains to a woman how she has gone wrong in cleaning her house or wash her clothes), but Iceland is the one who specifically mentions mums in their slogan. Why wouldn't a dad or indeed childless man or woman go to Iceland? Well I have some idea why people in general wouldn't - they sell crap readymade food - but why would mums in particular be seduced by their ad and come in? Surely a mum would be more conscious of what they fed their kids and less likely to go to Iceland?0 -

I completely agree with the part I bolded.
Theres one advert for bags that you put your grill/oven trays in. With the catchy line of
'So easy a man can do it' it REALLY annoys the bejebus outta me !
One advert I do like is one for some make of car, its all made of of card board .. *sings .. see me driving in my car car* ok so its probably the wrong words, but I do love the advert !0 -
I normally turn the sound off or fast forward through the ads, but I just love the T Mobile ad where they are all dancing in the station - puts a smile on my face every time - brilliant!! :TNumpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...:whistle:0

Best advert ever.
Unbelievably, it's not CGI either, they actually made this set up (it took over 100 takes to work). The only CGI are small enhancements on the lighting/mist and speed of movement. Also, all of the pieces are part of the product featured at the end of the advert.
I would recommend anybody to take a look.
Good but not the best - this is the best and this is second best LOL! :rotfl:Numpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...:whistle:0 -
Does anyone remember the john west salmon advert where the man fights the bear for the salmon.

This is not an ad but equally if not more amazing than the honda ad.

I hate all adverts, and generally watch programs from recorded so I can forwards-fast over them.
If I am watching something live then I mute the sound and/or leave the room (to get a drink or something) whilst the ads are on.0
