    Cheers Beanie/Hypno. :)

I'm browsing the Comet website in amongst posting!

I just did my weekly shop and it came in at £51. I didn't need to buy nappies/night-time pants this week as I bulk-bought last week when they were on offer, so my estimate of £55 per week without those is about right. :T

Based on what I bought though, I think we will be eating various types of chicken casserole all week... :rotfl:

My little herb garden is coming along nicely so at least I can add lots of different herbs for a bit of variety!

chicken casserole is good! I have just taken out a tub of something to defrost from the freezer........I was hoping it might be something "substantial" that we can just do potatoes and veg with, but it seems it might be leftover gravy from a casserole.........in which case we will still have it with potatoes and veg, i just won't announce the lack of meat until it is on the plate tomorrow

Just pretend you didn't realise until you started cooking - and by then it was faaaaar too late to defrost some meat!

Potatoes, veg and casserole gravy sounds nice to me though!

Hi Duchy, lovely to see you - good luck with the DLA form. I've actually pretty much filled mine in (took hours!) so I really ought to at least submit it and see what happens. :o Do let me know how you get on - fingers crossed.

    !

Got the letter today-got both mobility and care at the lower level......presently backdated to the end of November although there is a suggestion it may get backdated to March 08 when their computer ate my form.
Definitely worth posting-it also adds the disability component to tax credits if you don't already get it.

That's excellent news. I will dig the form out tomorrow and see what still needs doing (oh crap, I think the partly typed up version is on the currently-not-working computer.......gahhhhh......although I still have my handwritten copy).

    Morning :)

I've made a doctors appointment for Ryan to discuss his night time problems - hopefully they will agree to try him on the medication again, but if not, I will push for a prescription for the night time pants.

The cute anaesthetist guy came online for a chat a bit since, and I was trying to pluck up the courage to mention the fact that he asked me out 2 weeks ago and we still haven't arranged anything  but his mate arrived so he had to go. He said he will be back online later though.

Men!! Why do they make everything so confusing and complicated!

    Things to do today:

    - Dig out cheque for £35 lurking in my kitchen cupboard and pay it in before it goes out of date :o
    - Take docking station (cheap-ish £40 one from bedroom, not beloved Bose one) back to shop for a refund. The speakers hiss so loudly you can hear them over the music when the volume is low - and ex hubby managed to get me a better one for £25, so I will be £15 better off.
    - Return dress and boots ordered online - boots don't fit, dress not needed as bought 2 gorgeous dresses last week from Debenhams

If I get those things done today, I will be £115 better off! :T

    Hi El!!!

Right, parcels all ready to go to the post office and online returns forms completed. Cheque found and stashed in my bag with a paying in slip, so I can pay it in at work tomorrow. Next I need to do the docking station.

Oh I need to sort out my docking station too.... says it will charge the Ipod, but when I pop it on there, it says "Recharging not available."

They've sent me a list of questions about my ipod etc so I must get that sent back to them today... thanks for the reminder!!!!!
