My cousin Steve is taking part in the British Heart Foundation's London to Southend bike ride on 19 July 2009 and, having discovered that only 30% of people who take part raise money for the charity, he has set himself the mammoth task of raising 1 million pounds (comprising 1 million unique donations of just £1 each) in just four months. Crazy? Probably, but I reckon he can do it!

what a good idea - was looking at doing the bike ride myself with daughter who lives in London but after looking at the website looks like the london marathon but on bikes. Ill donate - hubby suffers from angina and had a heart attack...0
