Hope this helps someone. Colour number 2 is what I'd call beige.

Thanks a lot! Gosh, the white almost looks darker than lt ivory!!!

Ivory looks like it has some warm glow it it...

No 1 of the full colour chart IMO is more aubergine. The nearest colour IMO would be 50 I think.

thanks for the quick answer. i thought 1 was perhaps too dark, it's hard to tell as on different monitors it looks different. i hadn't even considered 50, but in the link you posted it does look a bluey- purple and in nat's pic it looks blue .

i think i prefer colours 39 + 23 - which out of these would you say is nicest?

23 is more royal-ly purple IMO, so that I think would be best out of those 2 for you.

somebody PMd me to aske about burgandy... now I would think burgandy is 31 but depeding on what you think burgandy is it could also be 1.

Its dificult, I'm giving my opinion but I dont want you guys to order something and then be dissapointed that the colour is not exactly what they expected.

I've just had a look at mine and I agree Kelda, I would say burgandy is 31 and 1 is a very dark plum

I would describe 23 as a dark lilac out of 39 and 23 there isnt a lot of diff but I prefer 23, cant tell you why tho.
