I know I shouldn't really complain about this, they're only trying to protect both our backs; but does anyone else find it a bit too easy to set off Egg Money's suspicious transaction alarm?
And then, in this day and age of identity theft and everyone being warned about giving personal details away; Egg's security department phone you up; and ask you to identify yourself to them! :rotfl:

As they have just dropped their interest rate down on positive balances, I went online and requested a balance transfer for £15000 and a few days later another for £600.
This morning I had just such a call from them asking if I had requested any transfers recently. Rather pleased their internal procedures pick up on such things for their customers protection. Just a shame their transfers are dragged out to the ultimate 10 day limit if they can get away with it."Click the pennies. Collect the pounds."0 -
