hi there im just wondering if anybody knows any good chinese wholesale companies or website's that sell apple iphones for cheap? or even better any good uk based companies that sell the iphone cheap. thanks for your time

apple iphone and cheap are two words that dont go together i'm afraid they are nearly impossible to source legitimately and any offers from the far east will almost certainly be counterfeit.

I tried to source apple ipods a few years back when i was doing roaring trade on ebay, i contacted apple directly and was told that there were only four authourised distributors to the trade in the uk, but not to expect much of a profit margin, and they were not joking, i contacted all four distributers who required me to open a trade account before they would give prices and when they did i wish i hadn't wasted the ink on the account application. it was cheaper to buy off ebay than off the distributor, when i pointed this out to the distributor they suggested that is probably because what is being sold as "new" on ebay is probably actually refurbished or a customer return as there is no way they could sell at that price if they sourced them legitimately.

So my advice, be very very careful, you could end up parting with your money and losing it all if they are counterfeit.

if you want to source goods from china i reccomend globalsources.com that is where i used to source my goods from to sell on ebay and they verify the suppliers on their website, in some cases even visiting premises to check they are legitimate businesses that have what they say they have to sell, they also credit check them so it's about as safe as you can get and i personally never had any problems with any chinese supplier i found from that site.

thanks for your help. think that kinda blows me out of the water then. i've always been a bit edgey about chineses wholesale but was just interested in whether or not they were trust worthy. apart from iphone's then do you no any good british sellers who dont charge you to join? thanks alot for your time

British sellers for what type of product?

There are lots of British wholesalers but finding a good one for the product/products you want to buy is the hard work.

Also be aware they is a new trade in China starting now of counterfeit mobile phones, including the iphone ! So probably better to buy within the UK than online from overseas
