2nd year loans help please!

Hi,

I'm just coming to the end of my first year and so filled in the loan application for next year. They said that they wouldn't need evidence of my Mum's income etc cuz they'd use the info from last year. But now it says it's pending cuz it's waiting for evidence from my Mum. So that's a bit confusing cuz she hasn't had an email or letter or anything.

And when my Mum logs in and clicks on the support application bit, it keeps logging her out.

Does anyone have any thoughts?! If not, I'll give them a ring in a few days but thought I'd check here first :)

Well they are using last years info as they've changed the system, but not sure what you have to do lol. Ring um and ask, or send an internal messae saying:

    Hi,

When completeing my finance application for income assessed it told me I would not need to supply any evidence as it is now using last years information which I gave to you last year. However my status is on pending as you are waiting for evidence. My parent (mum) cannot log in as the system keeps logging her out. Do we need to send the evidence or not? If so could I please have information on how to do this,

    Thanks,
    Ziggy

I was in exactly the same situation as you.
However after much faffing about last night my husband managed to login to provide information. All it asked was whether he had any dependents other than me who were at university, and whether he had any dependents other than me who weren't at university. Seemed like a waste of time considering it took him a week to manage to login - it kept kicking him out or just refusing to let him login as well.
But now the status of my application has changed back to awaiting assessment (what it was when I filled it in the first place before changing to 'awaiting supporting info').

Hope your mum manages to log in soon.

    - my husband didn't get an email or anything either only noticed because I logged on to see if it'd been sorted yet

Thank you both for your replies!

I've now sent them a message using what Lokolo said so hopefully they'll reply soon. :p

A week to login! Hope it'll log my Mum in quicker than that! That does seem like a waste of time but better than having to do all faffing around with providing evidence

    Thanks again :)
