i had a letter yesterday from welcome fianace saying thay would out of goodwill pay me back my ppi but have put it onto my account with them can thay do that? like most people at the moment that money would help us no end

This is all I am reading the last few days, in my opinion I taken it if there were no arrears/missed payments it would be paid directly to yourself.
If you've no missed payment etc, ring them and tell them how you rather this be paid, seems like they are all doing this now, but no harm in ringing them, its your money.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
